So why am I starting a beauty blog now? It's simple. Beauty has always been one of my interests and is now becoming one of my passions.
I recently joined a company called Younique. I joined because I loved the makeup that they sold and soon I discovered that I loved their mission even more. Derek Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft are a brother sister team who started the company to uplift, empower and validate women across the globe. With the money they are making they are going make a retreat house for women who have been sexually abused. How wonderful is that? These amazing people understand that beauty doesn't come from makeup, it comes from love and respect.
So starting a beauty blog is the perfect way to unite two of my passions, true beauty and writing. I am beyond excited to share my journey with you.
